If it's under about 15 years old and the seams are sound, a repair can be worthwhile. Past that, patches fail within a season or two because the membrane itself has lost flexibility. Send us photos and we'll give you an honest call. We'd rather do one proper job than three patches.

No, and be wary of anyone who offers to. Old membrane traps moisture against the substrate and hides rot. We strip it, inspect and repair the deck, then install new. It's the only way the warranty holds.

Membrane replacement starts from around $160 per square metre. A typical Auckland home runs $15,000 to $25,000 depending on size, detailing and how much substrate repair is needed. Asphalt shingle reroofs are typically $20,000 to $30,000. Every quote is fixed, itemised and free.

We only strip what we can re-lay the same day. Most residential membrane jobs take two to four days, and the roof is watertight every night.

Not without you knowing first. Substrate inspection is part of every job. If we find rot, we stop, show you photos and price the repair before going further. No surprises on the invoice.

TPO is a single-ply sheet with hot-air welded seams, no flame, UV stable and the go-to for most residential flat roofs and decks. Torch-on is a heavier bitumen system, better suited to some commercial and heavy-traffic applications. We install both and recommend based on your roof, not on what's easiest for us.

Yes. Internal gutters, decks, balconies, parapet flashings and the main roof are usually one scope for us. Doing them together is cheaper than piecemeal and avoids joins between old and new work.

Long run is a different product and often the wrong one for a flat or low-pitch roof. Under about 3 degrees of pitch it will pond and leak. Membrane is the correct system, and installing it to warranty standard takes certified applicators.

No minimum job size, no call centre, no sub-crew. You deal with the licensed applicator who does the work, from the first site visit to handover. The big firms are built for factories and schools. We're built for Auckland homes and small buildings.
