The roof is rarely the hard part
The hard part is doing it without shutting the tenant down, working around plant and services that cannot be switched off, and keeping the building watertight through every night of a job that runs for weeks.
We break the programme into sections sized so each one can be stripped and re-laid the same day. That is what keeps the building dry, and it is the single biggest factor in whether a commercial re-roof goes smoothly.
Evidence before a number
We start with a site assessment and a moisture survey of the existing build-up. On a large roof the difference between an overlay and a full strip is a very large number, and it should be based on what is actually in the build-up rather than on assumption.
Plant, ducting, conduit and existing penetrations are detailed individually. We coordinate with your facilities contractors where anything needs lifting or isolating.
